1.50 lakh Women get Cash Benefit Under Sumangala Scheme

Uttar Pradesh Chief Minster Yogi Adityanath has started third phase of Mission Shakti. On the occasion of “Azaadi ka Amrit Mahitsav”, the governor of Uttar Pradesh, Anandi Ben Patel had honored 75 women for their service to the state in their respective field form every district of Uttar Pradesh each.

“Even some developed countries don’t have vaccines. They are looking for doses, but due to PM Modi’s efforts, we’re producing 6 vaccines in India. We want to provide vaccines quickly to country, especially the vulnerable population”, Finance Minister said in Lucknow.

Uttar Pradesh Government, today, has started third phase of Mission Shakti in the state capital, Lucknow. Uttar Pradesh Chief Minster Yogi Adityanath has inaugurated the event along with Finance Minister Niramala Sitharaman and UP governor Anandiben Patel.

Uttar Pradesh CM informed that the event will be conducted at the district level across the state. In every district, further 75 such events will be organized.

Speaking at the event, UP Governor Anandiben Patel said that more than 30 crore rupees has been transferred to 1.55 lakh daughters under the Sumangala scheme.

On the occasion of “Azaadi ka Amrit Mahitsav”, the governor of Uttar Pradesh, Anandi Ben Patel honored 75 women for their service to the state in their respective field form acrosst of Uttar Pradesh each.

Union Finance Minister, Nirmala Sitharaman was also present at the event. Addressing the event FM Sitharaman appreciated PM Modi for his commitment towards women empowerment.

“When Modi ji became PM, he auctioned all gifts he had received as Gujarat CM & donated money for education of girl children. He introduced several women as ministers during recent Cabinet expansion”, Finance Minister Nirmala Sitharaman said at the event.

She also praised Prime Minister Narendra Modi on his Covid-19 front.

In October last year, Uttar Pradesh government had started Mission Shakti with the focus on women safety and dignity. The programme also focuses on sexual abuses against women and girl child.
