The 2015 UPSC topper Tina Dabi, has started a new chapter in her personal life, as she got engaged to fellow IAS officer Dr Pradeep Gawande, months after she split from Athar Aamir Khan.

Tina, while announcing her engagement, wrote on her Instagram account, “I’m wearing the smile you gave me 🙂#fiance.”
Pradeep captioned a photo a with his fiancée, Tina as, “Together, is my favourite place to be!”
Tina on another photo of Pradeep from engagement replied, “I’m wearing the smile you gave me 🙂.”

Tina is the 2015 batch all-India IAS topper, and Pradeep is her three-year senior. Tina is from Delhi, while her partner is from Maharashtra. Both are now working for the government of Rajasthan.
Tina had topped the UPSC in 2016, gaining the all-India number one spot, while Athar was ranked second that year. Both, TIna and Athar fell in love during their training period at the Lal Bahadur Shastri National Academy of Administration in Mussoorie, Uttarakhand. As part of their training, both of them had visited London.
Several high-profile political figures attended their wedding in 2018, including Indian government ministers and Vice President Venkaiah Naidu.
Tina proudly added Khan to her surname and declared herself a ‘Kashmiri bahu’ in her Instagram bio. In 2020, she deleted Khan from her surname and removed the reference to “Kashmiri bahu” from her Instagram bio. As a result, both of them had stopped following each other on Instagram.
