Kabul airport has been hit by multiple blasts that caused approximately 90 live including 13 American soldiers as confirmed by a Pentagon spokesman. According to reports, more than 100 people, including five American soldiers, are reported to be injured. One soldier is in critical condition.
US officials said that a suicide bomber executed the attack outside the Abbey Gate at Kabul Airport. It has come to light that the attacker came firing and blew himself up with a bomb which took many innocent lives. Britain and Australia soldiers are positioned at the abbey gate of the airport.

At the same time, the second bomb attack was carried out outside the Baron Hotel in front of the airport, which is close to the Abbey Gate. It is important to notice that prior to the attack, there was a warning of explosion by IS terrorists. Its main objective was to target foreign soldiers who have been aiding to evacuate Afghan refugees from the country.
Pentagon officials have informed US President Joe Biden on this entire incident. As per the reports, Biden has called a meeting with high officials at the White House. On the other hand, British Prime Minister Boris Johnson has also called for an emergency meeting regarding this incident.
Apart from this, French President Emmanuel Macron, who was visiting Ireland, expressed concern about the blast and said that Ambassador David Martinon, who is in Afghanistan, would leave the country soon.
The French ambassador to Afghanistan had feared another explosion outside Kabul airport. He wrote in his tweet, ‘Request all our Afghan friends to leave immediately if you are near the airport gate. There could be another explosion. Meanwhile, American media outlet Fox News, quoting sources, claimed that it could be part of an IS serial blasts.
