Class 12th UP Board English paper has been reportedly leaked leading to the cancellation of the examination in 24 districts. The exam was scheduled to begin at 2 p.m. today. “The exams would be held according to the pre-determined timetable in the remaining 51 districts”, Aradhana Shukla, Additional Chief Secretary, Secondary Education Department said.

The paper leak, according to the information gathered, occurred in Ballia. Following this, the intended test scheduled for Wednesday between 2 and 5.15 p.m. was cancelled in 24 districts. The paper of the series 316 ED and 316 EI of the Intermediate English subject has been leaked, according to Director of Secondary Education Vinay Kumar Pandey.

As a result, the examinations in 24 districts where this series’ papers were distributed have been cancelled. The date of the cancelled exam will be notified at a later date. The remaining 51 districts are conducting the examination.

Exams Cancelled in these 24 districts

Kanpur Dehat, Lalitpur, Chitrakoot, Ballia, Etah, Baghpat, Badaun, Sitapur, Pratapgarh, Gonda, Azamgarh, Agra, Varanasi, Mainpuri, Mathura, Aligarh, Ghaziabad, Shamli, Shahjahanpur, Unnao, Jalaun, Mahoba, Ambedkar Nagar, Gorakhpur are among the districts where the paper has been cancelled.

Students Panick

Due to a paper leak, students in 24 districts are panicking. Many students stated that they had come to take the exam after doing a lot of preparation. Students raised slogans against the cancellation of the exams in certain places, including Gorakhpur. Students were dismayed when they were denied admission to the test sites and later learned that the paper had been cancelled. Students demand that the ones who are responsible for the paper leak should be punished severely.

High School Sanskrit Paper was also Leaked

Yesterday, Sanskrit paper was leaked from Ballia district in easter Uttar Pradesh. The news of the paper leak was circulated even before the commencement of the High School Sanskrit examinations. The police have filed an FIR in this case. On the complaint of the District School Inspector, a case has been initiated.
