Farhan Akhtar is back as director again as the actor announced new film, Jee Le Zara starring Katrina Kaif, Alia Bhatt and Priyanka Chopra in lead. Bhag Milkha Bhag actor informed about the film through his twitter account.
“Did someone say road trip? Thrilled to announce my next film as director and what better day than 20 years of Dil Chahta Hai to do it. #JeeLeZaraa with @priyankachopra #KatrinaKaif aliaa08 will commence filming in 2022 and I cannot wait to get this show on the road” Akhtar Tweeted.
The film written by the cohesive effort of Farhan Akhtar, Zoya Akhtar and Reema Kagti and produced by Excel Entertainment and Tiger Baby.
The film will chase the actors on a road trip and will touch sort of ZNMD or Dil Chahta Hai schmaltz. Filming for the movie will commence in 2022.
Farhan Akhtar’s first film as a director is Dil Chahta Hai starring Amir Khan, Akshay Khanna and Saif Ali Khan. In last decade, Akhtar deployed all the focus on acting. His latest film as an actor was Rakesh Omprakash Mehra’s Toofan.
