Hajj Committee of India today has extended last date of filling up of online application form for Hajj 2022 to February 15. The committee has notified through a press release. Earlier, the last date of applying was January 15.

“In view of the representations received from several State Haj Committees, the last date for filling up of online Haj Application Forms by the intending pilgrims is extended up to 15 February, 2022. Consequently, applicants possessing of machine readable valid Indian International passports issued on or before 15 February, 2022 and valid up to 31 December, 2022 will be eligible to apply for Haj – 2022, in partial modification of para 4.1 (b) of the Guidelines for Haj 2022”, the committee said.
Every year, hundreds of thousands of Muslims from India go to perform Hajj in Saudi Arabia at Makkah. Due to Covid-19 pandemic, number of pilgrims have drastically fallen.
