Appreciate what Varun bhai is saying but look at what BJP MLA from #Khurja, Uttar Pradesh is commenting! Though deeper tests required, at the very least, Vijendra should get his eyesight tested! Or he could visit some villages in his constituency & repeat this absurd statement.

Bhartiya Kisan Union leader Rakesh Tikait arrives at ‘Kisan mahapanchayat’ and will soon address the farmers regarding the future plans of agitation.

Rakesh Tikait will try to pin pressure on the government over the nullification of three farm laws.

Farmers have been protesting against the three contentious farm bills. Last year in September Lok Sabha and Rajya Sabha passed the bill that inspired farmers across the nation.

As claimed by the farmers, the three-farm bill favours corporate houses and does not assure maximum retail price (MSP) for farmers.

In January 2021, the supreme court of India has stayed the three contentious laws and formed a committee to look into the grievances pertaining to the farm laws.

Various opposition parties have extended their full support to Farmers’ protest and demanded the nullification of the laws and guarantee the farmers with MSP.

Ever since the protest began in September 2020, more than 500 deaths have been reported related to the farmers’ protest.
