
A post on social media is viral in which Prime Minister Narendra Modi is walking around Gandhi Smiriti with his hands folded as a photographer takes his picture while lying on the ground.
The post is captioned as “one man who works 18-20 hours a day, 365 days a year” and was shared multiple times on Twitter in an attempt to criticize PM Modi for him being over photo obsessed.

The Newster Fact Check
After doing a reverse image search on the viral picture, we discovered a Siasat Daily article. The article was headlined ‘PM Modi pays tribute to Mahatma Gandhi’.
In the article, we found a similar photo sans photographer as it has been shown in the viral picture. The picture was credited to the PTI and was captioned as ‘New DelhiL: Prime Minister Narendra Modi at the Gandhi Smriti in Delhi on the occasion of birth anniversary of Mahatma Gandhi.’

The article covered the story of PM Modi paying tribute to Mahatma Gandhi on his birth anniversary on October 2nd in 2021.
In the above photograph, clicked by the PTI there is no photographer lying down in an attempt to picture PM Narendra Modi as shown in the viral photo. Hence the viral photo turns out to be edited.

Conclusion
The Viral image is edited and Narendra Modi did not have any cameraman deployed while paying tribute to Mahatma Gandhi.
