Sidharth Shukla, a popular actor and the winner of Big Boss 13 died on Thursday, according to a Cooper Hospital official. He was 40.

Sidharth Shukla, a popular television and film actor best known for his role in the long-running TV programme “Balika Vadhu,” died due to a major heart attack on Thursday, according to a Cooper Hospital official. He was 40.
The actor was a fan favourite after winning Bigg Boss 13 and being one of the most popular contestants of this show. He is survived by two sisters and a mother. A top Cooper Hospital official informed PTI, “He was brought dead to the hospital some time ago.”
Sidharth’s Acting Career
He began his career as a model before moving on to acting in television series. In December 2005, he defeated 40 other contestants from Asia, Latin America, and Europe to win the title of World’s Best Model.

In 2008, he made his acting debut in the programme Babul Ka Aangann Chootey Na, and he hasn’t looked back since.
He later featured on shows like “Jaane Pehchaane Se… Ye Ajnabbi” and “Love U Zindagi.” But it was his character of Shiv in the long-running Colors TV social drama “Balika Vadhu” that made him a household name. He won tremendous acclaim and appreciation, as well as numerous awards and nominations for his role in the show. At the Indian Television Academy (ITA) Awards, he was named “GR8! Performer of the Year (Male).”
He has also been in several reality programmes, including “Jhalak Dikhhla Jaa 6“, “Khatron Ke Khiladi“, and “Bigg Boss 13“. He was the host of India’s Got Talent and Savdhaan India.
Sidharth has also tried his acting skills in Bollywood. Shukla made his Bollywood debut in Varun Dhawan and Alia Bhatt starrer “Humpty Sharma Ki Dulhania” in 2014, as a supporting actor.
