Chahar came off the pitch nursing his hamstring after dismissing the West Indies openers cheaply in the run chase. He was in the middle of his delivery stride when it appeared like he had pulled a muscle in his right leg, so he halted and rested on the ground. The physio rushed to the scene, but the damage had already been done, and Chahar had to withdraw from the game.
It’s unclear whether Chahar will be able to play in the IPL, which is set to begin in the last week of March.
