There Will Be Peaceful Transfer of Power, says Afghanistan as Taliban Enters Kabul

According to the multiple reports, Taliban has entered the capital city of Kabul form all side. It is just matter of time that Taliban takes the power from the authority.

Yesterday, Taliban has conquered Pul-e-Alama, a neighbor city to Kabul. Since then, a danger of fall of government was looming over the Ashraf Ghani government.

Now, when Taliban has entered the Kabul, it is being said that Taliban will take over in next few hours.

Abdul Sattar Mirzakwal, Interior Minister of Afghanistan said “The Afghan people should not worry… There will be no attack on the city and there will be a peaceful transfer of power to the transitional government”, after the armed group ordered its combatant to refrain from entering the capital.

Sources confirm that Afghanistan president Ashraf Ghani is still in Afghanistan at the ARG Presidential Palace with the first lady.

Taliban said that it will take the city by means weapons. The Ministry of interior confirmed that Taliban is at the door to the main city but not in the main city itself. Taliban further said that It will allow its citizen to leave the city if they want to. 

Earlier today, Afghan president talked to the authorities and enquire the security situation in Kabul.

“Mohammad Ashraf Ghani, President of the Islamic Republic of Afghanistan, had a telephone conversation with security officials regarding the security of Kabul citizens”, said the president house.
