Many people on the internet are tweeting one-word tweets.
Twitter, mostly known for controversies, is in news for something that is rather cute in terms of showing utmost love, respect, and care for what we do in our lives.
A large number of celebrities and commoners are posting one-word tweets on their accounts about what they love. But, how and who started it? Let’s find out!
Amtrak is a large passenger railroad that travels across most of the United States and Canada, it summed up its brand in a tweet on Friday with just one word “trains.”
the one-word tweet was liked by then 1.5 lakh people, which is believed to have started a trend where other companies began to identify themselves in a similar way.
One of the top news organizations in the world, CNN, tweeted: “breaking news.” Users questioned whether the tweet was the work of an intern.
Both NASA and National Public Radio, both located in the US, adopted similar simple explanations.
Organizations and sports teams joined the bandwagon as well. The Oakland Athletics franchise tweeted “athletics,” while Major League Baseball in America wrote “baseball.”
Political leaders caught up to the trend without falling behind. “Democracy,” US Vice President Joe Biden tweeted.
Indian cricket legend Sachin Tendulkar also followed the trends and tweeted what he shines at, “cricket”.
Some lovebirds also got to know about the latest trend and leave no stone unturned to show their love for their partner. In this category, we found our star cricketer Dinesh Kartik when he tweeted his partner’s name “Dipika.”
