UGC had earlier postponed the National Eligibility Test due to raging coronavirus cases which was first supposed to be held in December 2020 and was postponed again in April 2021 due to the same reason.
Earlier, UGC had merged both the December 2020 attempt with June 2021 attempt to regularise the UGC NET cycles.
Now, as examination dates are nearing, admit card will soon be announced within 2-3 days according to the sources.

Aspirant are advised to keep their application number and date of birth noted to avoid delay in the process.
Steps to download the UGC NET admit card—
- Log on to www.ugcnet.nta.nic.in
- Find ‘download admit card’ button on the homepage.
- Enter your application number and date of birth.
- By now, UGC NET Admit Card 2021 must be appearing on your device screen, save it.
- Now, take a print out and keep it with you.
The UGC NET exam will be held online at your nearest center. There will be no negative marking. Feel free to mark most appropriate option. There will be two papers, first will be common for all the aspirants irrespective of subject chosen and the second paper will be of your main paper.
