UP Election 2022: PM Inaugurates Development Projects in Gorakhpur

As elections are nearing in politically key state Uttar Pradesh, BJP is launching an avalanche of development projects in the state. In this series, Prime Minister Narendra Modi today launched 9600 crore worth rupees development projects in Yogi’s bastion, Gorakhpur.

Among these development projects, Gorakhpur fertilizer plant and AIIMS Gorakhpur and ICMR -Regional Medical Research Center (RMRC) are included.

PM Modi while addressing a rally in Gorakhpur said that Bhartiya Janta Party government at the centre and State are working as ‘double engines’ with ‘double speed’ for development.

PM Modi said that when job is done with a good intent, even disasters do not become a hindrance. “I had come here 5 years ago to lay the foundation stone of AIIMS and a fertilizer factory. You have given me the privilege of launching these two together today. The Regional Medical Research Center of ICMR has also got its new building today. I congratulate the people of Uttar Pradesh,” PM Modi said.

 “When there is a government of double engines, then work with double speed is also done. When work is done with a good intention, even disasters do not become a hindrance. When there is a government that cares about the poor-exploited-disadvantaged, it also works hard, also shows results by bringing them,” Modi added.

Governor Anandiben Patel and UP CM Yogi Adityanath were also present at the inauguration ceremony.

Modi also paid visit to an exhibition of development projects in Gorakhpur.

Uttar Pradesh will undergo polls in February-March next year as the current government is completing its tenure in March 2022. Uttar Pradesh is considerably a litmus test for BJP government at the center ahead of general election in 2024, as the maxim goes, Delhi’s throne stands on Lucknow soil.
