UP Election Result: Out of all 403 seats, incumbent Bhartiya Janta Party is leading on 246 seats, meanwhile, Akhilesh Yadav led Samajwadi party is leading on 124 seats.

UP Election Result: Former President of Aligarh Muslim University Students Union Salman Imtiyaz and Honorary Secretary are trailing badly in the Uttar Pradesh Assembly Election.
Salman Imtiyaz who contested on Congress’ ticket from Aligarh constituency could only manage to accumulate a little over 1200 votes till 17th round of counting. In the last round he gained 116 votes.

Meanwhile, Huzaifa Amir, son of Rashtriya Ulama Council President, Aamir Rashadi Madni could only gain 1047 votes till the 7th round. In the last round he got 132 votes. Huzaifa contested on Rashtriya Ulama Council’s ticket from Azamgarh’s Didarganj constituency.
Whereas in Didarganj, Samajwadi Party candidate Kamalkant is leading the counting with 17,210 giving tough competition to BJP’s Krishnakumari who got 9833 votes. BSP’s Bhupendra is fighting for the third place with 8517 votes.
In Aligarh, SP candidate Zafar Alam is leading with 64582 votes leaving behind BJP’s Mukta Raja by little over 3000 votes. BSP’s Razia Khan is at the third position with 11036 votes. Salman is at the fourth position with 1229 votes.

SP’s ally Suheldev Bharatiya Samaj Party is leading at 4 seats whereas Rashtriya Lok Dal is leading on 9 seats.
