UP Election Result: Huzaifa Amir Impresses with His Performance, Salman Imtiyaz Lost Security Deposit

UP Election Result: Ex-President of Aligarh Muslim University Students Union Salman Imtiyaz and Honorary Secretary were in fray in the Uttar Pradesh Assembly Election.

UP Election Result: Ex-President of Aligarh Muslim University Students Union Salman Imtiyaz and Honorary Secretary were in fray in the Uttar Pradesh Assembly Election.

Salman Imtiyaz who seemingly could not understand the political equation and perhaps went with the Congress who almost has lost its trajectory in Uttar Pradesh. On the other hand, Huzaifa impressed us all with his performance in Didarganj bagging 10,070 votes and ended at the fourth place,

Salman Imtiyaz who contested on Congress’ ticket from Aligarh constituency not just lost but also got his security deposit forfeited. Salman could only manage to accumulate 2292 votes.

Meanwhile, Huzaifa Amir, son of Rashtriya Ulama Council President, Aamir Rashadi Madni, surprisingly gain 10,070 votes. Huzaifa contested on Rashtriya Ulama Council’s ticket from Azamgarh’s Didarganj constituency.

Whereas in Didarganj, Samajwadi Party candidate Kamalkant has won the election with total 74342 votes in his favour leaving BJP’s Krishnakumari who got 60781 votes at the second position. BSP’s Bhupendra got 47094 votes and stood at the third place.

In Aligarh, BJP’s Mukta Raja has won the seat with 120389 votes and defeated SP’s Zafar Alam who gave tough competition till the end of counting. Alam bagged total 107603 votes in his favour ending the fight at second position.

BSP’s Razia Khan was at the third position with 18273 votes and could barely manage to secure his deposit. Salman ended up at the fourth position with 2292 votes.

So far, out of all 403 seats, incumbent Bhartiya Janta Party has won 198 seats and leading on 57 seats. Meanwhile, Akhilesh Yadav led Samajwadi party bagged 72 seats and dominating on 38 seats.

SP’s ally Suheldev Bharatiya Samaj Party won two seats and is leading on four seats whereas Rashtriya Lok Dal won eight seats.
